Very busy week. I am extremely lagging in some of my tuts and I noe y. Maybe I shld start hafing priorities though I wish I can do everytink at the same time. Haha... Yay I actually ran 2.4km this week at SRC... heh it's gg to be an every week affair!



Haha haven blog for quite a while. I can't believe how much busy uni life is for just the 1st 2 weeks- projects, tutorials, star planning, og activities etc! But I am hafin lots of fun at the same time cos hall activities really help remove lots of the stress. We company and complain to each other on msn at 3am in the morning, jio each other out for supper, mingling in the tv room, haf our meals together while complaining (yes more complains) about out tutorials, etc etc.

Going way back to last week, we had our joint hall bash (JASH) and it was quite a scary affair. Haha cos everyone was fighting to get the food. But it was a nice get together though freshies chipmunks are not clubbers. Some pics to show it all:

But we are in this altogether! Haha and we managed to keep our smiles bright too =)

Mmm we decided not to mingle around the crowd and went back hall to play cards. However, we ended up hafing a drinking session. Played a couple of games and the losers are suppose to drink the 40% alcohol vodka though they r mostly diluted with ribena. Wahahah some of them got so drank cos they kept losing. I was still sane cos had only 3-4 cups and it was funny to see how they started talking rubbish and laughing to themselves. Heh heh and we haf the vids to prove it.

Had a bdae celebration for the aug babies this week. Ponding, being synonymous to birthdays was ever present. Okie ponding is basically a sadistic act of flinging someone into this super disgusting pond. It is rather shallow, perhaps up to the thighs but the bottom is filled with sewage, algaes and who knows wat! Being ponded means ending up filthy and smelly and worse, drinking the disgusting water of the pond! Waahahah the seniors wanted to pond all the freshies girls but the security guard saved the day. Heh heh... nxt time I shall run to the security counter when my ponding antenna picks up dangerous signals. Or we could get an oxygen tank as suggested by HP and QY wahahah.

Also had 环岛吃吃吃 on thu nite. It's like a supper tinky with hall and we went to diff locations in S'pore to try out nice food. Yum yum we ate so much at the 85 Bedok mrkt but our stomachs still welcomed the delicious 豆浆油条 at Geylang! Heh we went to "tour" the even street in geylang and I would say it was an eye opener. And found out some interesting stuffs from the guys too- tsk they noe so much! The last stop was at a prata shop in bukit timah but I was so shag and full that I just sat there looking at others eat. A really fun event though the happiness was dampened when I had to continue my project back in my room. Sian-ed.

V v sry to all my khakis esp to jiao and van they all cos neva meet up with ur. Tink we r all adjusting ourselves to the new uni system haiz. Nxt nxt week after my 2 projects must try to meet up... Miss ur leh hehe. N I wan to watch secrets!!!

I really wanna blog b4 I forgot most of the exciting tinks that happened to me this week. Hall camp! It was a total blast. Inevitably, i was constantly comparing it to the NBS camp cos well.. aiya it's inevitable! Okie I shall go on a day-by-day basis...

Day 0:

Met up with the my hall mates and seniors at hall 1 Block 15 tv room for the briefing. Haha it wasn't all tat scary cos vic was there. The seniors claimed I look like her- wahahha we both dun tink so leh. Maybe cam trick. Played a couple of ice breaker games then went on for supper after that and got to noe some of them better cos we were at some corner- "wei teng", soon-to-be bruce lee and the smiley cute Vernise! The seniors were v nice cos they treated us to the supper =) After that was back to hall but not b4 they ponded Garren. Wahaha we would get used to it later I guess...

Day 1:

The camp kicked start off with the dirty games! Wah I thout I would be used to it after NBS camp but no! It's much more dirter!!! We ran up a steep slope and haf to attempt to catch the rope to pull ourselves up while our senior pour soap water down the slope, photo formations in mud, teleport a mealworm with a guy og mate (ekkk yes I was damn distress!) mouth to mouth!, etc. By the end of the day, i totally 没有形象already!

Later on we get to meet our different SP wannabes. Haha it's different from the NBS one cos they din directly allocate you to one person. Each of us got to talk to about 4-5 different people while being blindfolded and we can only reveal our code names. After that, we are suppose to choose our top 3 SP choices and they will try to match us to our first choice. Once again my sexy husky voice was still intact due to my ill-discipline and I joked with my og pals that those SPs will tink I am a guy instead Wahahah! It was quite fun interacting with those different people though it was like a Q and A session where we fire the same qns like wat sch u from etc. Seniors are ard to disturb us and pretend to be freshies. Heh we all had fun discussing abt those SP we met.

Day 2:

Amazing race! Haha haven get to play it for ages and yesh it's the real tink again. We really moved from one end of singapore to the other. The first puzzle really made us crack our brain cos it's so tricky! "Read between the lines and colour dun matter"- wah we were practically pulling our hairs out in the MRT. Luckily we managed to solve the clue. Went on to ECP (My haunt!) and u noe wat- 10 of us were supppose to do the water skiing tinky- the one tt I alwasy cycle past! I was push to do it and frankly speaking, I was super freaked out. But in the end it's like super fun and I managed to go some dist b4 I plopped into the water. Wara and I was super frustrated cos we just can't pass the turning point. In the end we discover that we were suppose to go through the 2 oranges floats (No one told us that b4 hand!) and we feel so cheated. I wan to try again!!!! Wahaha ah jiao, now I would love to try it out with u =p

Later on was many other interesting stations: we went to bugis- to match pictures to items ard that place, science centre- to solve some puzzle which our og excelled in =), bowling alley- to bowl and I violently throwing the balls into the drain (wahahah yar I sux in bowling), tanjong pangar food centre (for shi zi lu kou- yum yum), etc. We had a great time together and I really got to noe some ppl well.

Had a couple of night games which were quite fun and not too strenuous. Haha during one of it and to we girls' horror- we discover that 1-2 guys are lighter than us! *faints* Most of the game test our unity and endurance and I tink chipmunks def pass! My deepest impression was for the hockey stick game. We are suppose to be in 2 rows guy-gal on our knees and hold the hockey stick between you and ur partner. In pairs, we are suppose to use them like steps and walk across to the other corner. My legs were shaking real bad but my partner (I rmb it's chang er soon to be heh heh) was really nice and keep welfaring me. Aiya whoever get me as partner for such games v suay one cos my arm and leg strength is super lousy.

Day 3:

Sentosa day!!! It was one of the best part of the camp I tink cos it was a total blast. Hall camp won for this round cos it's better than the NBS one. We had a lot of different stations to clear and all of them were really interesting and sometimes haiz torturing. I swallowed chili padi, allowed my buddy to burst a balloon on my butt, rolled over all my og (yes they suay), etc. The last 2 games after lunch was the highlight.

First it was water rugby. I was one of 10 players for my og and I was gaping when I saw how rough the game was. I thout it will be relaxing cos only the gals are allowed to scored and attack gals- wrong. The gals were like grabbing at each other like there's no tomorrow n I was totally freaked. When it was our turn, we were like praying for the best. Whew heng that our first opposing grp was relaxing also and we keeping shaking hands and apologising. Yay chipmunks won the first round and then we realised tat we are facing the violent grp (mona ur grp leh!!!) nxt. Tink we got choked and tossed off our feet but still we fought on... and we were champions! Wahaha playing nice still got us champions and it was sweeeeeeeeeet! Relaxing chipmunks!

Nxt was the super funny one. I seriously pity the guys! It's known as the great wall where there are about 3 layers are guy linked up together arm to arm on the sand. In the centre was our hall pres and we gal r suppose to rescue him by getting thru the wall with any methods. The senior gals demo it first to the senior guys. We were totally shocked. They scratched, pinched, slapped, bite and twisted a particularly anatomy part of the guys!!! OMG!!! I tink our fellow freshies guys were sweating after witnessing that scary scene. The senior guys came out bleeding and tortured. OK now our turn... we are comparably nicer lar though we did tickled the guys like hell. Wahahah okie I was already shag from water rugby so I din do much except pull at their legs. After that was combined efforts and all the girls attacked the guys. Wahaha we had our fun and it was fair cos the guys had their revenge by dunking some of us.

After sentosa was fright night! We were brought to some abandoned pri sch in a lorry while blindfolded and made to go in 2 sets of pairs guy-girl around the school. B4 that we told us horror stories of our hall and haiz my block is one of the more haunted ones! Heng not my level... Okie our turn: We walked thru the hall, into classrooms, lec halls, male toilet (each of us girls went in alone to get a "weapon"- I was super freaked!!!), rubbish chute, etc etc. It was basically a story of how a girl was murdered and there are crime scenes, funerals, hell ghosts. After a while it wasn't so bad liao... tink NBS camp's "ghosts" more scary but it was a great effort on our hall senior's part!

Day 4:

Had a couple of station games at SRC and this time, we were randomly grouped with other og ppl so that we can mingle with them. After that was pool games but I missed it cos must return home for tuition- it's beginning to weight me down seriously! After that I went str to the alumni club for SP nite. My suspicions were proven rite cos I guess my SP b4 hand. He keep telling me he v prominent in his og during that talk and yar really v prominent. Touched that my og people was v concern and protective towards me when my SP was revealed. But seriously my SP is not bad lar. I had the impression that he is scary at first too but after talking to him, he is a nice and gentlemanly guy- keep helping me open doors, take food for me, pull chair out for me, etc. Had to do some er xin games at some stations but aiya I was used to those kind of games liao lar to the point of being emotionless heh heh. But the one during the dinner was a bit... haiz! Cos he being the "prominent" one called up on stage with his SP (poor me) to do some er xin tink again. Tink I totally no face after that feat on stage but dun care lar.. nobody will recognise me or rmb one hor.

Day 5/6:

Last day of camp. Had a senior vs freshies games in the morning and it's call 100s no NG. Wah it's really tough! The seniors won... wahahha they pro siah! After that we had this tic tac toe tinky where we choose the no. and haf to do a task and see whether freshies or senior win. Wahahaha they task really v er xin and funny. I tink the cheese ball one is the highlight. Our lovely CGL holds the record for hafin the most no. of cheeseballs stuffed in her face. Bruce Lee challenged her this year n woohoo he broke her prev record and got 41 in. But guess wat- our CGL got 50 into her mouth!!! OMG she rox! We did other stuffs like eat chilli padi, pass raw eggs mouth to mouth, etc etc...

In the afternoon was more dirty games in yunan garden and we really run away and hide till all those soya sauce, flour, chilli sauce etc etc ran out. After that was performance night and really like our skit though it's pretty last min. Wahaha acted as naruto's replica even though neva watch b4 and it's nice working with my fellow replicas, cute blushing naruto and the "really looks like the real one" bruce lee! We din mess up at all =)=)=) Cheer fight was a voice losing affair and I throat was super pain after that. My last 30% of my voice was gone after the cheer fight.. haiz.

After that was initiation. It's basically the seniors hafing fun cos they can make all us freshies dirty wahhaha. We were blindfolded and brought to a lorry where it circled around in sch to give us the impression that we are taken away- except that they brought us back to hall 1 again! We took out a mentos from the toilet bowl and ate it, "jumped" off the 3rd level, had "paint" on different parts of our body and had to mix it with others to get diff "colours". In the process, they throw flour, raw eggs, soya sauce, etc at us. Haiz... last but not least, we were told to jump into the pond.

Slept like a pig for a few hours b4 gg for og lunch. Tink the camp is really gd cos I enjoyed myself a lot and actually get to noe everyone of on my og. My NBS og was too big and I din get to interact with everyone. Chipmunk seniors were also more welfare and made sure everyone was truly involved. Thus we could really enjoy ourselves in the day as we had slightly more sleep. The food was def much much better than NBS one. No stress, relaxing- Chipmunk rox! And everyone inside was really cute cos we r chipmunks wat- wahhaha okok lamed. Looking forward to seeing them tmr at the bash again =)

Went to my Pri sch BBQ ytd for a short while. Feel quite bad cos I was quite shag and had no voice. Heh really v v happy to c them again after such a long time and I managed to recognise most of them! Haha but now I will def rmb all of them =) Hi Sarah!!! Wahaha yesh we same sch again!!! Must come my hall visit me too kz... i show you my dear doggie =) Had to leave after a short while cos my parents were waiting. I was sotong enuff to leave my bag behind and had to run back to get it. Must be lack of sleep!

Haiz sch starts tmr liao!!! Dunno whether to be sad or excited... There's so much to do- apply for concession card, collect matric card, add/drop subj, consider wat electives to take, etc. Start my packing now...
