Tired? Yar I am. Physically yes cos I had less than 5 hours of sleep ytd (not enuff for me heh). Otherwise yes too. I am not complaining really cos I noe it’s inevitable but sometimes why can't people be more shui bian? Oh well there’s 3 words to comfort me- used to it. Luckily I am not alone with this one.

The bad stuffs aside, yesterday was a blast! Wow one of the best sleepover if not the best. Though only got 4 of us from S24A, we had many great rounds of mahjong. The first round revealed tat we are noobs but after advice from min via hp, each rounds grew more exciting. Kristin’s karma was great cos she win so many rounds! Wahaha must be her lucky left arm =)

After dinner was the clubbing and it's me and mona's first time. Wah it was ultra super crowded in zouk! Lesson learned- dun eva go clubbing after a public holiday. Ladies night so expecting more ladies? Crap cos guys were swarming everywhere. I was warned about the smoke but it wasn't as bad as I thout it will be. But the music blasted my ear drums at future and mambo, and even though I had 6 years of experience having a suona blasting my ears in CO I was half deaf by the time I came out. But I really enjoyed myself cos you just lost urself in the music and dance (or shake? I dunnoe cos I just anyhow move) to it. I was shouting to my friends cos we can't hear each other at all and yes I lost half my voice now. At first it was really nice cos not so crowded but later it got so bad after midnite, I was probably doing a body-to-body dance. At first not v comfortable with all the contact but after while, u get so used to it cos it's impossible for u to leave a 2cm gap around. Yes it's tat bad and I am not exaggerating. Luckily it's not normally like tat according to jn they all. But the experience not bad =) Maybe I will go back after the smoke ban comes into place.

After tat went back to mona’s hse. Was dead beat but after the freshing up, it was better. Played monopoly (yes our fav game), compared who most shuai and chio in our school and chat all the way to bed. Went for breakfast cum lunch at east point. Surprising I didn't collapse in bed cos I was too immersed in a very nice xiao shuo. Shall talk about my xiao shou readings some other time.

Super excited about this sat cos it's kbox! And movie =) Miss u gals a lot though we met a few weeks back. Ok going to continue my side quests for chrono.



Went to KPMG again today to sign contract and yesh I am officially employed. When I was travelling to Raffles Place, I made some observations about the morning mrt commuters and how they differ from the normal ones. Heh obviously i was too free but quite interesting to c the difference. Soon I will become one of them *horrors horrors*

Ok here goes. Most of them r the 20s to 40s age with an occasional ah mahs and ah gongs. People around my age r rather rare becos of the timing. And the tink is no one or very very few people listens to mp3 in the mrt or buses. Very unlike the normal timing where many use their ipod etc to past time. Instead these morning ppl spend their time reading newspapers or staring into space. Or trying to fight for a seat on the mrt cos whenever someone finally leave their seats, all eyes will gleam and the faster bum will get it. Seems kua zhang but quite true.

Next is their dressing. Since they working obviously they r wearing suits, ties etc etc. Some r wearing jeans and t shirts too but not those blink blink flashy types which teens crave. Okie i am being too dub here. There seems to be a form of uniformity here cos all r dress in formal wear unlike the usual colourful crowd. No wonder they say the white collar people r dull but yours truly gg to become one of them. All of them seems to be rushing off with a purpose and dun bother much abt the others. (or r they secretly observing??)

Meet jane today and she told me abt her job experience of working in sales. Wah some people can be super snobbish, esp the tai tais. And they complain and pick on everytink from a bubble in the scrotch tape to demands of paper bags instead of plastic bags. Heh bet they haf neva worked as salepeople b4 so they dun understand the difficulties- having to act fast, keep a smile on the face despite working for god knows how many hours and standing too! Hallo salespersonel r humans after all and not superman. Tsk tsk shame on them whether singaporeans or tourist alike. And to tink they r suppose to be the "higher class" people considering the location and product- Ironic to the core since they r only capable of showing the uncivilised behaviour of man. Luckily they r still the minority, though a significant amt of these people exist. Whew I totally dun regret rejecting tat Robinsons job as a salesgirl!

Heh tat sums it all up about the stuffs I know about working life so far. Back to gaming and more sleep cos I am lacking in it!

A piece of gd news... I am finally unofficially employed. Yeah finally someone wants me =) Offically cos I haven sign the contract. It's the accounting admin job tat I applied for a long long time ago. Haiz but have to work for the nxt 6 months for 5 days everywk so I am gg to play like siao this month. But I will still keep a lookout for short term jobs for u guys... more eyes r better than 1 heh.

I wanted to blog about this for quite some time. It's about the ironies and lessons of life. Heh yar it seems like some serious topic but it's kind of amusing and really true sometimes. It's like how life is trying to test us normal being. All the stuffs below are based on my own judgement and observations and of cos r subjected to changes lar.

1) One can never please all. Being cool and quiet can be "you xing ge" to some but arrogant to others. Being hyper can be enthu to some but a hypocrite and irritating to others. The list goes on. The moral of the story: be yourself cos no point trying to please all cos u can't. Or else one will end up having an identity problem.
2) Somehow life just love to play trick on us ya. The things we wan just seems to evade our grasp while those tat we shun will always be hovering around u. A stupid e.g would be when I leave my hse too early and wan my bus to come slower, the bus will surely reach in less than a min time. When I am super late (which happens often), the bus takes forever like more than 15 mins to come. Living as normal being can indeed be irritating.
3) Humans inevitably may be hypocrites which may not be a bad thing. Rare individuals would spare no qualms about giving their truest opinions but they r a minority. A guy will be least likely to tell his galfriend tat she looks like a auntie in her clothes unless he wans eternal hate from her (yes gals can rmb such tinks for her whole life!). These tinks happen between friends, family members and even strangers. Most of the time, it is to prevent "unnesscessary" trouble or hurt to others. So who can can totally condemn the need to show an emotion contradicting one's actual feelings?

Aiya i tink i dun wan to blog liao cos I dying to play chronotrigger. Thanks to min and jiao, I am save from boredom. Com games totally rox! Min I can send u poke too... tink jiao enjoying it =)

The lions like super tired. Must be just had a meal.

No need to intro already, shall straight away talk about wat happen within this few days. The week blast off with a bdae celebration for me. Heh no its not my bdae yet but cos hui they all all going overseas soon so celebrate early. This time round, its shawn who haf to do the waiting. N he waited for so so long- v sry to him! We walk around pp for a while to wait for hui then we went off to katong mall there to eat. Haiz too bad the nice ice cream shop close. Then we went to try this hong kong cuisine shop. Wahaha I discover tat we always try v novel food and they r all asian food! Yesh they got ice cream float. I tried the black cow while quek tried zebra. Hui tried the xiao long bao... She let us try but I burst it! We chatted on and later we went off to a thai restaurant where hui bought me a slice of my fav blueberry cake!!! Wahaha I just love blueberry... haha must thanks the 3 of u =) V gan dong!

We went off home and talked about certain v interesting topics! Wahaha I realized tat all guys in the world r egoist! Even shawn give the typical guy ans heh heh... I forgot the exact topics. Maybe can refresh my memories when I read their blogs.

On tue I went for my first job interview. Ok to be honest it wasn't even an interview. It was more of a 5 min briefing. And for this 5 min briefing, we waiting 2 hours. Super waste time! N I realized the pay sux! I tink this highly respectable firm is underpaying its temp staffs lor... to tink they expected the staff to work night shift and 12 hours a day and somemore during public holidays. My brother's pay is much higher and his somemore got provide meals and transport too! Thanx to jane, I can reject the job offer without hesitation though the lady was quite nice.

Finally prom day! Haha Jane came to my hse cos we decided to DIY everytink by ourselves. We started off by eating my mom's noodles. Tsk tsk I knew tat her lunch will just be instant noodles lor cos she and her bro stubbornly dun wan to buy (haha just wat I will normally do if my parents not at home). Then we went to yan jiu how to do our hair. Wahaha the vain us took 10 years but not our fault wat cos we not professionals. But it turn out to be quite nice thanx to her straightener and all the black pins plus the mousses. Then came to the makeup and the pressure is on me. Heh v scared tat I will ruin everytink for jane. But luckily neva but too bad can't really teach her much cos we r seriously out of time. We left my hse at 5.35pm when we suppose to meet the rest at 5.45pm -_-"' yes I am always so on time!

We finally reached and I got a shock of my life! Oh my gosh jn and ah mah look so so different!!! Wahaha jn look like she is really for hong xing da jiang and shanice look so cool and pretty! Heh but of cos everyone look great too. I got to sit with my S24A thanks to yr. Actually feel quite bad though she say she dun mind! Haiz actually we shld all be sitting tgt instead. The whole event was ok save for the super loud speaker tat keep blasting our ears and some of the mc's jokes was a tab too lame. Can't really talk cos for the other party to hear me, I must scream like a pig. Heh the entire tink was filled with photo taking, admiring people’s clothes and hair, saying hi to people whom I normally dun, etc. Haha but it was a different experience and quite fun. The food was not bad too and they were all posh and ex.

After tat went home with the 4 of them and discussed about nxt week's pot luck. I was the last one left in the cab. Haha I realized tat it's the taxi driver quite nice to talk to though at first I thout he will be fierce. Heh all grandfathers shld be like tat. I reach home at 1pm. Luckily didn't go marina with gat they all if not I dun even haf to go home liao. But I still overslept and woke up at the time when I was suppose to meet jane today. Super sry to her!!! Finally get to eat the ultimate chicken meal! Haha...

Going to watch tv already. Worried about tmr's formal interview. Haiz but at least got the pot luck nxt week to look forward to heh...




I haven blog for aeons... haha. It is officially 1 week after exams and yes I have been a parasite for the past one week, spending my parents money without a valid reason for not finding a job. No worries cos I have been actively sourcing for jobs, erm without much successful. Thanks to my more hardworking friends, I am going for some job interviews soon. Yesh there will finally be money input instead of just output! The past one week has been great cos I can play like siao without feeling guilty. Let's see:

I went with quek to a manga warehouse sales. Although the newer books are not all tat cheap, I still managed to finally get my bro a bdae present- his fav one piece comics. After tat we went on to vivo to walk around. Yes it is rather big but somehow, I tink its overrated cos dun tink its v fun. Still prefer suntec and marina square cos at least the directions are clearer and the walkway is not so narrow. The day ended off with one of our fav haunts, az comics shop at hougang!

The ironic tink is tat I visited vivo again the nxt day. I did the same tink a few days back where I went back to marina with different people on consecutive days too. Mmm my holiday seems to have become rather repetitive yar. This time round I went out with my parents and sis. Haha it's actually quite interesting to watch my parents reactions and opinion about vivo cos they, esp my father probably visit a major shopping centre one time per year. They commented about the steep price of the bowls of noodles we had at vivo, which is v true! Later we zoom off to Tampines to watch happy feet. Before tat, I persuade them to take neoprint... wahaha they r really like country mice cos they dun even noe wat it is! The entire phototaking experience was great. Gasp my father even act cute in one photo!!! So unlike him! Haha they keep commenting about how old they look and how great the machine is cos got the mei bai tinky tat can make their complexions look good. We went off to watch happy feet. Not v nice to me cos it lose out to shrek and nemo. It's more of a educational tinky lamenting about global warming and social outcast. But overall it's still not bad.

Okie this post is getting too long. I will blog about wat I did during this few days separately then. I haf been doing this for quite a number of times hor...
