Have been speed reading a few blogs and shall comment on those issues stated since I got nothing much going on in my life except mugging a bit harder than the last 2 terms.


Jiao's blog was talking about the issue of short shorts in vj. Read cosiety and there were many comments slamming tat pervertic guy who snap photos of vj gals in their short skirts. There was also one particular post which ah gong brought to my attention. Tat particular guy from vj was looking at it at another perspective- maybe wearing short skirts is wrong in the first place?maybe the gals shouldn't be tailoring their skirts to follow trends?


Well it is no secret tat vj is known to have short skirts. Perhaps the normal length of skirt in vj is considered short in some other jcs. However, I feel tat this notion is blown totally out of proportion. Yes most of our skirts are above the knees but of our skirts are not all tat short where they can give pamela anderson a run for her money. The rules in jcs are more liberal and most will accept the above- knee length of skirts. Yes I must admit tat some of our skirt rather rather tat extreme... mine was like tat last year (but becos of tat tailor mah- didn't expect her to cut it so short) . Fortunately, mr seet told me told last year. I am totally glad of it now cos if not, I will most prob be caught on thu. I tink mr seet will noe how to judge wat is too extreme and he will tell those ppl of. Oh and jiao shouldn't be one of those caught on thu lor... her skirt is ok wat!


As for tat pervert for took those pics, you r either a great detective who ensures all his cases are accounted for in primary evidences or a extremely free person who got nothing much better to do. The thing is tat if he had looked around more, he would c many other jc gals with skirts as short or shorter. Y didn't he demand the minister to address the skirt prob as a whole but chose to aim it directly at us? He must have some grudge againt vj or smth. The photo taking thing not only violated the privacy of gals but also offend gals in general. I have ever had such experience and would have slap tat person silly if I had reacted faster, even though he just took my face or wateva. Well, I have nothing much to say about tat pervert.


Quek's blog was about making friends in jc. Mmm after reading her blog, I stared to reflect on my own friends-making experience in jc. Well I am pretty lucky in the sense tat I haf quite a no. of my sec sch friends with me in vj. They help me tide over the difficult task of adapting to a totally new environment in vj. As we all know, vj is considered a rather "english" sch. I felt really inferior in vj at first cos everyone speaks english really well and I am just not comfortable with speaking english as like a primay language in all my conversations. Haha no surprise since all conver in my 4 years in cchms was filled with chinese lingo and singlish... mmm except maybe sec 3 and 4 where I was in an e.lit class. So in vj, I was really happy in vjco cos everyone speaks chinese in it and I can really show people my real self without the language barrier.


But slowly I adapted and realised tat speaking english is not so bad after all. As in I used to tink everyone speaks perfect english in my class but tat's not really true. Haha in fact all my friends dun really mind me adding in some chinese. All the time, it was just me lacking the confidence and staying in tat little box of mine. After opening up and stumbling along with my broken english, I got to know my class friends rather well and yes I do enjoy their company now. Sometimes it just takes one to open up and ppl will acknowledge u. Mmm maybe I am not the best of friends with all the people in my class but there are ppl who accepted me as their friends.


Haha so I guess I am a lucky gal with a nice bunch of friends in my class to listen to my crappings, care about me and walk out after school with. And I am even luckier to have the 3 gals in co who taught me lots, hang out with me and r my great of all greats friends. There are those seniors I know from co too. And I have a few others who jokes around with me when they c me around, says hi with sincerity or chat with me online. And of cos I have those great sec sch friends whom I still keep in contact and hang out with or those pri sch friends whom I chat with online. Wat more can I ask for. Haha I was neva those ppl who looks for the limelight or wants to the whole school to know me... tink those r not important at all cos I would rather have a smaller but closer social circle, rather than a large one where most of them probably dun really noe me well and I would have the dilemma of whether even to say hi to them. And having to present oneself as wat is socially acceptable all the time can be tiring... wonder how some ppl do it!


Ahhh my post is so long liao ar... okie I shall blog another time. By the way has anyone encountered the fishy tink of having alot of ppl u dunnoe, adding u on msn? Tat happened to me for this few times and am worried tat it is some virus. Those ppl neva come online and some of their nicks are almost mirrors of each others. And their email add got random no.s and screams bogus email add created for fun. But i added them anyway... heh heh anyway can delete later wat...



Okie, it haf been dunnoe how many donkey years since the last time I blogged. I am practically disappearing from the online community since I only come online once a week not counting those times when I come online in sch in the illegal com lab.

Erm I actually dun really haf any interesting event gg on in my life. I shall dedicate this post to all those bdae babys of july. July is one of those months which I can really say I am totally broke cos there are 5 ppl whose bdae is in july. And they r those ppl who are not just acquaintance but real friends whom I haf to buy present for de... not tat I am complaining lar cos I am lucky to haf them as friends but then my pocket is bleakly empty now. Okie, I shld announce the names of those gulity ppl who r making me rather poor... heh. (In order of the date)

1) Yu Zhi: one of those great sec friends whom I can neva eva forgot! Went shopping with van to buy e present n I am quite satisfied with the result. Really hope she like the present. Too bad we can't meet up but no worries... there will be plenty of time after exams.
2) Gat: Must say super sry to this guy cos I neva really buy present for him! Tsk tsk! It's too late for me to share present with the rest of the co ppl. Haiz I must compenstae back some day. I promised! Anyway wish this great guy a happy bdae... really must thanx him for alot of tinks.
3) Ah Mah: Heh the yellow gal's bdae is here. We bought her present during the dream on cip. Must say tat we didn't haf an easy time buying it cos a bit hard to find the presents we wan at a reasonable price. But in the end we did it. Hope she likes it esp the yellow duck!
4) Mr Peng: Cos neva buy present last year and got a wake up call from ping they all abt how mean we juniors r cos we neva celebrate his bdae, we decided to get him a present this year. Haha tink its suitable for him though we r rather unsure of the size. Hope he like it.
5) Min: The most impt bdae of the month. Haiz really cracked our brians abt wat to buy cos its she is a vip and can't like anyhow buy some present. Haiz quite disappointed tat we can't find a particular tink which she likes but then still hope he love the rest of the present. Celebrating for the gal nxt sat!

Tink the few months where I would be broke will be junly and Dec for bdaes and jun for holidays. But this july is really v bad for me cos gg with jiao for a makeup course, just paid the sdd installment and the 5 bdae presents, plus I haf started my comics craze again and haf been renting comics every week. Haiz please I really need donations now...



I noe I haven blog for quite some time. Been rather busy and school is rather hectic this few times. Haiz getting back results this week but I am definitely not looking forward to it.

Went for the Dream On CIP yesterday. Met Quek b4 tat for go to the comics shop. i must really scold myself for not having restrain. To think I told myself tat I wun borrow any books and end up, i borrowed 5. The result: I have to lug it all around when I was doing the flag day cip. Bought yuzhi's present with quek b4 I left to meet my class friends at ps. Wah the cip was really rather tough. Now I noe how difficult flag today is. Heh I discover many interesting things on how people avoid flag dayers like me.

1) The easiest: ignore you and treat u as if u r invisible.
2) Walk to the side furthest from you and look straight ahead.
3) Flip out their hp and pretend to be msging or taking a call. Another method would be to start unfolding their newspapers or magazines and pretending to be interested in e contents which they haf read 10 times b4.
4) Shake their heads or smile sheepishly to indicate their reluctance.
5) Stared at u like u r an alien and walk on.

Haiz... okie I can understand why they react tat way but a gesture to indicate they dun wan to donate will be fine. Really detest those who just walk on n ignore u. It's both rude and well, hurting I guess. Anyway, now I finally understand the pains and efforts of flag dayers. In future, I will definitely donate and smile at them. Oh I remember another trend tat we noticed! When we approach couples, the males wil often show interest in donating but the female (argh!) will chide their boyfriends and tell them not to donate. So mean rite! Wah girls out there, dun disgrace our gendar by doing smth like tat lar... haha but it's kind of interesting to c such a trend.

After the tink ended, me and emma discover tat kristin and jane had this v funny routine when they collect donations. They haf some specific lines and they chorus it in unison. Really v funny! We went on to ps to buy ah mah's present. Wah I was a santa claus tat day- kept getting presents for ppl.

World cup tonite. Haiz sad tat portugal didn't get 3rd but wasn't really expecting them too. Germany is better than them and they are on homeground. The chances are as slim as a pancake.

Oh yar I met a pri sch classmate whom I haven seen for a long long time! *drum roll* The person is albin! Haha although he was in the same sec sch as me, I didn't really c much of him and it got worse when we got into diff jc. Erm must say tat I neva recognise him in the bus cos maybe I was talking to my friend. Wah neva expect him to live so near me. To tink I neva seen him b4 in my 5 years in punggol and suddenly, we just meet on a bus I nearly neva take!

Mmm I am getting paranoid abt sometink... haf a feeling I am just tinking so much but it's getting fishy. Tsk tsk maybe its not gd to tink anymore abt it cos its freaking me out a little...



Yesh tat irritating exam is over!!! Wahah I am not planning to go into specific details on how badly i fared cos no point harping over it and its over liao. In summary, i panicked for most of the papers, carp thru it and when each paper ended- I smiled like a cat cos I was finally liberated. I could feel the infor flowing out of my brains after each paper.

Have been watching da chang jin this few times.... really v nice!!!

Ahhh the england vs portugal match is starting. Figo and Beckham just recited some say no to racism pledge... still tink figo is better though jn will beg to differ.

Sorry really no more mood to blog leh cos can't keep my eyes off the mtach... Blog nxt time abt ytd's arg vs ger match. Watch brazil vs France later. Long nite for me...
